Firmer axle location under load
The firmer PU deforms less at the spring bolts and can guide the leaf springs and axles more consistently under high payloads and on uneven ground. The trade-off can be increased transfer of impacts and vibration to the chassis and body.

Installation note
Inspect all spring bolts, shackles, spring eyes and frame mounts for corrosion, scoring and deformation. Damaged metal components must be replaced separately. Clean all contact surfaces thoroughly before installation.
