Renew the key axle-location bushes on your Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series and restore more controlled axle movement under braking, acceleration and cornering. Soft, cracked or worn original rubber bushes can allow unwanted fore-and-aft and lateral movement of both solid axles.
This orange 75 Shore A polyurethane kit covers the listed front and rear control-arm and Panhard-rod mounting points. It uses regular concentric bushes and is designed for road use, overland travel and mixed off-road driving.
Measure the width of the existing frame-side bushes or control-arm mounts at both axles. Your selected option determines whether the kit includes the 35 or 40 mm mounting points.
Aged rubber can deform more heavily under braking, drive and lateral forces. Polyurethane retains its shape better and can therefore reduce unwanted fore-and-aft movement at the control arms and lateral movement at the Panhard rods.
The final result also depends on the condition of the arms, rods, bolts, mounting points, wheel bearings, steering and dampers.
Inspect the control arms, Panhard rods, bolts and mounts for corrosion, elongated holes or deformation. Check axle position and suspension geometry professionally after installation.
These versions have different hardness levels and recommended uses.
