More stable leaf-spring location
Polyurethane retains its shape better than soft or cracked rubber and can guide the leaf springs and rear axle more consistently around their intended pivot points. The final result also depends on the spring bolts, shackles, spring packs and frame mounts.

Installation note
Inspect all spring bolts, shackles and mounting points for corrosion, scoring and deformation. Damaged metal components must be replaced separately and all contact surfaces cleaned before fitting.
