Prepare the leaf-spring mounting points of your Suzuki Samurai or Santana SJ410/SJ413 for demanding off-road use and higher loads. Soft, cracked or worn original rubber can allow the springs and axles to move laterally more than intended.
This blue 85 Shore A heavy-duty polyurethane kit renews the listed spring-eye and shackle bushes and includes the matching high-strength mounting hardware.
Aged rubber can deform at the spring eyes and shackles under payload, braking forces and uneven terrain. The firmer PU limits this deformation and can guide the springs and axles more consistently around their intended pivot points.
The firmer connection can also transmit more impacts and vibration to the chassis and body. Worn spring bolts or deformed shackles must be replaced separately.
Document all positions before removal. Inspect the spring eyes, shackles, bolts and chassis mounts for corrosion, scoring or deformation. Finally tighten the fasteners at normal ride height.
These versions have different hardness levels and recommended uses.
