Firmer solid-axle location

The firmer PU deforms less than aged rubber under braking, drive and lateral forces. This can help the control arms and Panhard rods retain axle position more consistently under load.

The firmer connection can also transmit more impacts, noise and vibration to the chassis and body. Worn joints, bolts, mounts, steering parts or dampers must be repaired separately.

Installation note

Inspect all control arms, Panhard rods, bolts and mounts for wear or deformation. Remove the old bushes completely, clean the contact surfaces and have axle-location work carried out professionally.
