Combine partial caster correction with firmer axle-location bushes on a Suzuki Jimny FJ lifted by approximately 50 mm / 2 inches. A suspension lift reduces front-axle caster, while demanding off-road use places additional loads on the control-arm and Panhard-rod bushes.

This blue 85 Shore A heavy-duty polyurethane kit uses eccentric bushes at the axle-side mounts of the front control arms together with firmer regular bushes for the remaining front and rear positions.

Caster correction and firmer axle location

The offset axle-side bushes reposition the front axle within the control-arm mounting points and can partially restore caster reduced by the lift.

The firmer PU deforms less than aged rubber under braking, drive and lateral forces. This can help the control arms and Panhard rods guide the solid axles more precisely. The firmer connection can also transmit more impacts, noise and vibration.

Installation note

Install the eccentric bushes in the specified rotational position. After fitting, have caster, axle position, steering behaviour and suspension geometry checked professionally.
