The MorE 4x4 Steel Combination Skid Plate for the Volkswagen Amarok (models from model year 2023) offers high-strength, extensive protection for two of the most exposed mechanical components at the front of your pickup. This skid plate specifically covers two essential components simultaneously: the radiator assembly (incl. intercooler and water cooler) and the vulnerable steering gear.

The new VW Amarok is valued worldwide as a premium utility vehicle, a powerful workhorse, and a versatile expedition vehicle. However, those who drive the vehicle uncompromisingly off paved roads, in deep ruts, on rocky trails, or in tough forestry operations expose the low-lying front end to enormous risks. In case of hard impacts or bottoming out in off-road terrain, the front is unprotected. An incautious bump against sharp-edged rocks, hidden tree stumps in the undergrowth, or thick branches can deform the sensitive steering gear or puncture the radiator fins. A damaged radiator leads to immediate coolant loss and severe engine damage, while a defective steering gear immediately renders the vehicle inoperable.

This vehicle-specific combination underbody protection perfectly closes this critical safety gap at the front of your Amarok. It is specifically designed to fit seamlessly under the original factory bumper. Thanks to its well-thought-out design, this skid plate can also be installed completely independently and separately, without necessarily having to install the remaining plates of the rear underbody system.
