The MorE 4x4 steel tank guard plate for the Toyota Hilux Revo (Generation 8) offers high-strength protection for one of the most vulnerable components on long overland tours, expeditions, or in demanding work use. While the front part of the underbody is usually protected first, the large-volume fuel tank is located in the middle side area of the ladder frame and presents a large, unprotected attack surface for obstacles.

The Hilux Revo is globally renowned for its extreme reliability. However, those who use it off-road in forests, on construction sites, or on long journeys expose the tank to enormous risks. When overcoming crests, sliding sideways along deep ruts, driving over sharp-edged rocks, or massive tree stumps in the undergrowth, the underside of the tank is completely unprotected. Since the original factory tank protection usually consists only of very thin sheet metal, it deforms immediately upon hard impact. In the worst case, the tank can be punctured – leading to acute fuel loss, an abrupt end to the journey, and massive environmental damage.

This vehicle-specific underbody protection perfectly closes this security gap. The smooth surface of the protective plate also ensures that the heavy pickup glides flat over obstacles in an emergency, instead of getting caught with the tank on stones or roots. Thanks to the well-thought-out design, this protective plate can be mounted completely independently and separately, without necessarily requiring the remaining plates of the underbody system (such as the front engine or transmission protection) to be installed.
