Anyone driving a Mitsubishi L200 off-road knows the crucial risk of any deep water crossing: even a single water hammer can severely damage the engine in a matter of seconds. This More 4x4 Snorkel addresses precisely this by relocating the air intake high into a safe area, ensuring the engine intake is significantly better protected during river crossings, mud ditches, and dusty drives.
The robust air intake snorkel was specially developed for the Mitsubishi L200 models from 2015 onwards with a 2.4-liter diesel engine for the right side of the vehicle and is made of high-strength, impact-resistant ABS plastic. This material is perfectly suited for tough heavy-duty off-road use: impervious to stone chips, resistant to twisting, and ready for long-distance expeditions where reliability is paramount.
With this snorkel, your L200 not only gains a significantly higher level of safety during water crossings and dusty passages, but also a cleanly integrated, vehicle-specific solution with a practical scope of assembly. The scope of delivery includes all components required for assembly; depending on the vehicle's condition, adjustment and additional sealing of the air filter system may be advisable or necessary.
Please note: This off-road accessory does not have a general operating permit (ABE), no TÜV parts certificate, and no regular road approval under German road traffic regulations (StVZO). If the vehicle is to be driven on public roads, the following applies: Any potential registration by means of an individual inspection (§ 21 StVZO) must be clarified individually with the respective TÜV, Dekra, or KÜS inspector on site before purchase.
