On the Opel Frontera A with coil springs on the rear axle, the front control arms locate the wheels, while the rear trailing arms and Panhard rod position the rear axle under braking, drive and lateral forces. If the original rubber bushings become soft or worn, additional movement can develop at the wheels, axle and anti-roll bars.

This orange 75 Shore A PU kit renews the key suspension mounting points on the front and rear axles. It is designed for road use, travel and mixed off-road driving.

Advantage over aged rubber

Aged rubber can deform more under braking, drive and lateral forces. Polyurethane retains its shape better and can therefore locate the front control arms more precisely while limiting unwanted longitudinal and lateral movement of the rear axle.

The actual effect also depends on the condition of the control arms, Panhard rod, anti-roll bars, links, bolts, mounts and shock absorbers.

Complete kit for the front control arms, rear trailing arms, rear Panhard rod, front and rear anti-roll bars and rear anti-roll-bar links. Metal sleeves are included at the mounting points designed to use them.

Installation note

Inspect the control arms, Panhard rod, anti-roll bars, links and mounts for corrosion, play or deformation. Work on suspension and axle-location components should be carried out professionally.
