Large roof platform for travel and off-road equipment: The vehicle-specific Low-Profile Roof Rack for the Jeep Wrangler JKU creates an approximately 215 × 137 cm aluminium platform for a rooftop tent, storage boxes, recovery boards, solar panel, awning and other accessories.

Eight black-anodised aluminium crossbars with integrated mounting channels allow the vehicle setup to be adapted flexibly.

The full platform covers a large part of the roof and increases the vehicle height by approximately 60 mm. It is suitable for travel, camping and expedition builds as well as transporting bulky equipment.

Flexible aluminium platform with mounting channels

The mounting channels allow compatible rooftop-tent brackets, awning brackets and other accessories to be positioned as required. Black powder-coated side, front and rear panels form a stable, nearly level platform.

Closed front panel for a clean setup without integrated front lighting.

With LED-light-bar cut-out

Front panel with cut-out and brackets for a suitable slim 50-inch LED light bar. A light is not included with this version.

This version also includes the Hella Black Magic LED light bar explicitly named in the variant selection.

Installation on the Jeep Wrangler JKU

The rear section of the roof rack mounts to the roll cage, while the front section mounts to the rain gutters. The required vehicle-specific mounting hardware is included. Check all bolted connections after the first journey and regularly during use.

Roof-load and loading information

When correctly installed and with the load evenly distributed, the roof rack is designed for a dynamic load of up to 120 kg. This value applies while driving.

When the vehicle is stationary, the maximum static load is 350 kg. The static load capacity is particularly relevant when using a rooftop tent.

In addition to the roof rack’s load capacity, the roof-load limit approved by the vehicle manufacturer for the Jeep Wrangler JKU must be observed. The weight of the roof rack, installed accessories and transported load must be considered together. The vehicle’s permissible roof load must not be exceeded.

Distribute the load evenly across the platform and secure it with suitable mounts against shifting, loosening and loss. Off-road driving causes higher dynamic loads than driving on paved roads.
