The flat design follows the roofline of the Cherokee XJ and keeps the additional vehicle height as low as possible at approximately 60–70 mm. At the same time, almost the entire platform is available as a cargo and mounting surface.

Flexible aluminium platform with mounting channels

The mounting channels in the black-anodised crossbars allow suitable rooftop-tent brackets, awning mounts and other accessories to be positioned as required. Black powder-coated side, front and rear sections form a sturdy, almost level platform.

Closed front panel for a clean setup without integrated front lighting.

Front panel with a cutout and brackets for a suitable slim 40-inch LED light bar. A light is not included with this version.

Installation on the Jeep Cherokee XJ

The eight vehicle-specific brackets attach to the existing rain gutters. No drilling or welding on the bodywork is required. All bolted connections should be checked after the first drive and regularly during use.

Roof-load and loading information

The permissible load is governed by the roof-load limit approved by the vehicle manufacturer for the Jeep Cherokee XJ. The weight of the roof rack, installed accessories and transported load must be considered together. The vehicle’s permissible roof load must not be exceeded.

The load must be distributed evenly and secured with suitable mounts against slipping, loosening or loss. Off-road driving creates higher dynamic loads than driving on paved roads.
