Protect the center of your drivetrain. On the Jeep Cherokee KJ (Liberty), the main transmission and transfer case are relatively exposed on the underside of the vehicle due to their design. Our robust skid plate provides the necessary security to protect these expensive components from impacts by rocks, logs, or when bottoming out in deep ruts.

Robust Construction for Heavy-Duty Use

This protection was developed for maximum resilience with minimal weight gain:

• Material & Manufacturing: Made from 3 mm thick steel sheet, precisely cut by CNC laser and accurately shaped on CNC press brakes.

• High Rigidity: Through a series of targeted bends and profiles in the sheet metal, the plate achieves enormous inherent rigidity, effectively preventing bending upon ground contact.

• Durable Finish: All components are sandblasted and finished with a double powder coating to permanently withstand corrosion and mechanical abrasion.

Easy Installation at Original Mounting Points

Installation is absolutely user-friendly and respects the original substance of your Jeep:

• Drill-Free Installation: No cutting, drilling, or welding is required. The protection is simply attached with 6 screws to the factory-provided mounting points on the frame.

• Simple Installation: With standard tools and a second person to hold it, the protection can be installed quickly. This leaves more time for the important things – like preparing for the next trip.

• Complete Set: The scope of delivery includes all mounting hardware (screws, washers, nuts) and instructions.
