The mounting channels in the black-anodised crossbars allow suitable rooftop-tent brackets, awning brackets and other accessories to be positioned as required. Black powder-coated side, front and rear sections form a sturdy, nearly level platform.

Installation on the Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ/WG

The roof rack is mounted to the original roof-rail mounting points using six vehicle-specific brackets. No drilling or welding is required. Check all bolted connections after the first drive and regularly during use.

Roof-load and loading information

The permissible load is determined by the roof-load rating approved by the vehicle manufacturer for the Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ/WG. The roof rack's own weight, installed accessories and transported load must be considered together. The vehicle's permissible roof load must not be exceeded.

The load must be distributed evenly and secured with suitable brackets to prevent shifting, loosening or loss. Off-road driving produces higher dynamic loads than driving on paved roads.
